An acquaintance is someone that you spend time with on occasion; someone you're getting to know, but you don't know them that well; they have the potential to become a friend. When you really need them, they might not come through. People on your restricted list can still message you and post on your wall. They can view your public photos and posts as well as comment on them. Restricted friends can 't view things that are not set as public. If you tag them or mention them by name then they can see that even on private posts.

I have been using the Acquaintance list for a couple of years now. Occasionally, I feel bad for restricting someone and want to remove the Acquaintance label from them so they can see more of my posts. If I do that, will they see all the past posts I had previously restricted them from, therefore triggering the knowledge that they had been restricted, or will they only see the future posts?
I wonder if people who are on acquintancies list and also on other lists will be able to see. Because the only excepted list is acquintancies but if they are on anothe list, too?
