Retail stores have little or no stock on hand. When this happens, secondary sources of supply tend to charge more. Craig's List is another example. It is highly unlikely that price will go down until there are plenty to meet the demand at a retail level. As people decide they now want 3G ability, along with the GPS, you may start to see used WiFi only models sell at lower prices.
